Tony Snow, a conservative political commentator, journalist, and former White House press secretary has passed away at the age of 53. He has been fighting colon cancer and needed to resign last September from the White House because he needed more money to provide for his family. I know I speak for many that Tony Snow was a great American who was dedicated to serving his country.
Tony Snow got me more interested into politics. I was not interested into politics when he was host of Fox News Sunday, but really started to take notice of him during his press briefings. He was funny, knew when to be serious, and brought a sense of professionalism at every press briefing. That one year that he served as press secretary would be remembered. It sure was a special experience. I even got more excited when I heard that he was joining CNN because finally a conservative who was able to express himself would be on that channel. Tony Snow embodied professionalism and his service to America will never be forgotten.
