If more people come to realize how radical Mr. Obama's position on abortion, some would change their vote or at least I hope they would. I'm sure most people reading townhall.com blogs know that when Senator Obama was in the Illinois State Legislature he voted against a bill that would protect a child's life if the baby somehow survived during an abortion. He claimed that it was because it did not have the neutrality clause which said that it would not define when a baby is considered a baby.
This vote was researched by National Right to Life Committee and they found the record of how Obama actually voted which is interesting. First, he voted yes to an amendment that said there would be a neutrality clause in the bill, but when the complete bill was up for a vote he voted no. Is this a political maneuever or is that a baby is never living until it speaks according to Senator Obama? I ask Senator Obama when is baby considered alive? This bill was passed by without one single congressmen or senator on Capitol Hill vote voting against it. Even NARAL the extreme abortion on demand organization said that they "We, in fact, did not oppose the bill. There is a clear legal difference between a fetus in utero versus a child that's born. And when a child is born, they deserve every protection that the country can provide them.
Many can argue whether a fetus is living or not, but no one can argue that a baby is living once it leaves the mother. This is so radical. But, just remember this is the person who said that he does not want his daughters punished with a baby.
This should be the issue that turns all Americans away even those who support NARAL. Forget all the other negatives this is just repulsive.Mr. Obama does not want to protect a living baby who has fully left the womb which is just disgusting.
