Democrat Say Never to Drilling

It is obvious the Democrats do not want to drill now in America, but what about some where down the line. Democrat Senator Ken Salazar of Colorado made it clear that at least he does not want to drill no matter what the gas prices become. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell continued to pursue the debate of this amendment and asked that when it reached a certain amount of money at the pump, then the bill would automatically triggered, but Senator Salazar continuously rejected his numbers. The numbers just keep going up and up. This video is startling. It is clear the Democrats don't ever want to drill no matter how much the gas prices rise and how much money we dole out to countries that despise us.

A former American overseer of Iraqi prisons says several dozen inmates who were members of Saddam Hussein's military and intelligence forces boasted of helping transport weapons of mass destruction to Syria and Lebanon in the three months prior to Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Don Bordenkircher – who served two years as national director of prison and jail operations in Iraq– told WND that about 40 prisoners he spoke with "boasted of being involved in the transport of WMD warheads to Syria."

A smaller number of prisoners, he said, claimed "they knew the locations of the missile hulls buried in Iraq."

Senate Says No to Leave

Yesterday, the Senate rejected a concurrent resolution by a tally of 48 in favor of adjourning to the 40 opposed proposed by the House that would have enabled them to adjourn Friday. Like I said in my previous post, this is just a way to avoid dealing with the energy crisis in this country. The people who voted to leave should explain why they would not debate for an extra week or two and try to solve this energy crisis. The people who voted for this are not all Democrats; there is one Republican:
