The House of Representatives did what the American people wanted them to do and that was reject this massive expansion of government bailout bill. The vote was very close 228-205 and I thank all those who voted against it. I will post all those representatives who did vote against this socialism bill. The members of Congress who voted against this bill today showed that when people fail, American people, banks, or financial institutions, they should suffer their own consequences. The borrowers and lenders put themselves into this situation and the American people should not have to bail out Wall Street or Main Street. Those people should fail. It is not the government's job to bail out banks or financial institutions and I thank all those who did vote against this bill. This situation should be discussed longer than a week and should make sure that any other bill that tries to fix this mess does not promote socialism and expand government into uncharted waters.
