Dems Have Gone Too Far

BREAKING: Democrats Release Sarah Palin's Social Security Number

The Democrats of Alaska were kind enough to leave the last four digits off her social security number. This is a low blow. First attack her daughter and now give out her personal social security number.

Who is He to Say?

Medvedev says Saakashvili is 'no longer' Georgia president
Sep 2 02:40 PM US/Eastern

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev no longer considers his counterpart Mikheil Saakashvili to be Georgia's leader, telling Russian television Tuesday that Saakashvili is a "political corpse."

"For us, the present Georgian regime has collapsed. President Saakashvili no longer exists in our eyes. He is a political corpse," Medvedev said.

So here is the lesson learned by Russia:

1. Install your own citizens in a country.
2. Say on television and use propaganda illustrating how your citizens in that country are being mistreated
3. Invade that country because you feel your citizens are being mistreated
4. Destroy your enemy
5. Ask for the leader of the country you invaded to resign
6. Try to take over country you invaded
7. Last, but probably not least because Russia might say or do something else, say that the leader of the country you invaded does not exist and should not be recognized anymore

I learn so much from watching the Russians.

Speakers Tonight at the RNC

  • President George W. Bush (via satellite)
  • First Lady Laura Bush
  • U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman (Conn.)
  • Former U.S. Sen. Fred Thompson (Tenn.)
  • U.S. House Republican Leader John Boehner (Ohio)
  • U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman (Minn.)
  • U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann (Minn.)
  • Robert M. "Mike" Duncan, Chairman of the Republican National Committee
  • Jo Ann Davidson, Co-Chairman of the Republican National Committee and Chairman of the 2008 Republican National Convention Committee on Arrangements
Let's think about this: If Minnesota did not hold the convention what are the chances that the RNC would actually let him speak? Probably none. He is the antithesis of what it means to be a conservative. He is fiscally irresponsible and time after time votes with the Maine Senators, John Warner, and Arlen Specter meaning not a conservative. I hope none of them speak at the convention.

Well, We Knew It Was Coming Soon

'US to strike Iran in coming weeks'

By JPOST.COM STAFF

The Dutch intelligence service, the AIVD, has called off an operation aimed at infiltrating and sabotaging Iran's weapons industry due to an assessment that a US attack on the Islamic Republic's nuclear program is imminent, according to a report in the country's De Telegraaf newspaper on Friday.

The report claimed that the Dutch operation had been "extremely successful," and had been stopped because the US military was planning to hit targets that were "connected with the Dutch espionage action."

The impending air-strike on Iran was to be carried out by unmanned aircraft "within weeks," the report claimed, quoting "well placed" sources.

What I find interesting is the fact that the Dutch were supposed to have an operation trying to infiltrate or sabotage Iran's weapons industry. Maybe we are not the only ones after all worried about the threat that Iran poses.

No Wonder Obama Chose Biden

Biden Told Israel: Get Used to Iran Nuclear Weapons

Barack Obama's presidential running-mate Joseph Biden told Israeli officials that they need to accept the idea Iran will acquire nuclear weapons.

Biden, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, visiting Israel several years ago, told Israeli officials diplomacy and sanctions would be futile against Iran.

On Monday Israel's Army Radio reported details of the comments Biden made when he met with "senior Israeli officials behind closed doors."

Reportedly Biden told the officials he opposed "opening a additional military and diplomatic front" against Iran.

"Israel will have to reconcile itself with the nuclearization of Iran," Army Radio quoted Biden as telling the Israelis.

Why should Israel have to deal with the fact that Iran may acquire nuclear weapons. Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has vowed the destruction of Israel and with the close proximity of Israel and Iran, Israel has every right to be afraid. The fact that Biden said this shows that Mr. Biden does not really care about the safety of Israel because Israel should not have to tolerate a nuclear Iran. They are in danger and should do everything possible to protect themselves.

Wonderful News

U.S. Military Hands Over Control of Anbar to Iraqis

Monday, September 01, 2008

BAGHDAD —  The U.S. military has handed over security control of the western province of Anbar to Iraqi forces.

The province was once a hotbed of the Sunni Arab insurgency, and the scene of some of the bloodiest battles of the Iraq war.

The handover marks a major milestone in America's strategy of turning security over to the Iraqis so U.S. troops can eventually go home.

In the ceremony Monday in the provincial capital of Ramadi, the top American commander in Anbar, Marine Maj. Gen. John Kelly, said Al Qaeda has not been entirely defeated in Anbar. But he said, "their end is near."

Now let's see if the MSM covers this story. They did not cover the story when 15 out of 18 benchmarks were considered successful or when the violence drastically went down, now we will see later today if this makes any headlines and they cover the story for more than 10 seconds.
