As it happens, McCain’s campaign is going quite poorly and Obama’s is
going well. Imposing artificial balance on this reality would be a bias
of its own.

That is what Politico writes in their new story trying to explain the press coverage of the 2008 election and the biases. Everybody knows that the McCain has not been effective and has not done well, but that is no excuse for the bias in the coverage of the 2008 election. The media should always be objective and never should make the news, but only report the news and the media has failed the American people in this election cycle. Sean Hannity has said time and time again that 2008 is the death of journalism and I completely agree with him.
