The U.S. Justice Department won't try to force Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner to
release details about new voter registrations that don't match government databases before
Tuesday's election, officials said today.
A Department of Justice spokesman said the department will not intervene or investigate Ohio
voter registration issues, though it reserves the right to step in if that is deemed necessary.
