Just think about the world that we live in and the two candidates.
I am speaking to all people; liberals or conservatives, democrats or
republicans, libertarians and any other third party, and also to
people who are not associated with any specific party. This is not an
endorsement of either candidate, but I hope at the end you figure out
who is the best man to lead this country into the future
The world we live in:
Think about...
-The War in Iraq and whether or not you thought it was the right decision to enter does not matter because we are there now
-The War in Afghanistan
-The threat that Iran poses to us and our greatest ally in the Middle East Israel
-The danger that Russia poses to all of its former satellite states and possibly the rest of Europe
-The threat of Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda, Hamas, or any other terrorist organization
-The instability of Pakistan
-China
-North Korea
-The UN who hates us
-Energy crisis
Now the candidates:
Think about...
-Our Constitution
-If you want judges who rule by empathy and not rule of law
-2nd Amendment Rights
-Taxes and why should people who earn more have to pay more, I thought
this was the land of opportunity and not the land of confiscatory
-Which candidate wants to cut taxes and which candidate wants to raise taxes
-Should businesses and corporations and the rest of the so called "rich"
have to spread the wealth around and help redistribute wealth to people
who don't pay income taxes
-Why should the government take away people's hard earned work and give it to other people, that is not fair
-Should Bush tax cuts expire which has helped the economy
-Think about the economy under Bush which was successful up until the credit crisis
-Why should any group of people have to pay higher taxes
-Whether or not you believe more wasteful spending and higher taxes
should happen during a recession or even when the economy is doing well
-Equality of opportunity or equality of result(economic justice)
-Whether you want to create more wealth or spread the wealth
-Financial crisis we are in and whether or not there should be more taxes and more spending during a downturn in the economy
-Which candidate received more money from Fannie and Freddie
-Which candidate was advised by Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson, two
leaders of Fannie and Freddie who contributed to this financial crisis
-Whether or not you believe that "Government is not the solution, but the problem"
-Which candidate said that his policies would bankrupt the coal industry
-Associations- are important because it gives a person an understanding
of who the candidate really is (Jeremiah Wright, Rashid Khalidi,
William Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Tony Rezko, ACORN, Frank Marshall
Davis, Michael Pfleger)
-Which candidate was right about the surge and which candidate said it
would fail and that if he had another chance to vote for it, he still
would oppose it
-Whether or not you believe that the president should sit down with terrorist supporting countries without preconditions
-Candidate who supports drilling here and drilling now
-Which candidate supports ethanol subsidies
-Earmarks
-The failure of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge
-Health care and whether or not you want the government to control it,
just like the other bureaucracy's that are slow, incompetent, and are
failures
-The unborn children and whether or not children who are born alive during a failed abortion should be killed or rescued
-Whether or not taxpayers should have to pay for a women's abortion
-If you believe in partial birth abortion
-Is making a decision on abortion over somebody's pay grade?
-School vouchers
-Merit pay for good teachers
-Whether or not there should be slavery reparations
-Person who has consistently fought for America and put his country first
-Whether or not you feel the UN does a good job and whether they are the
first people to contact in any international crisis knowing that they
despise us
-If you really believe that we need to improve our standing in the world and try to please other countries
-Global Poverty Act- would give away over 85 billion dollars from
America to countries that are impoverished, wouldn't the money be
better spent if it was given to countries to help build democracies
-Less defense spending or more in a dangerous world
-Giving driving licenses to illegal immigrants
-The candidate's support of Israel
-Whether you think that one party controlling all forms of government is good
-Most liberal senator in 2007, more liberal than self-declared socialist Bernie Sanders
-Whether or not you want a president who says one thing to you and then goes behind your backs and criticizes you
-If you want a president who has some knowledge of the United States eg. 58 states
-Whether or not you believe the Justice Department should be utilized for censoring speech for your opponents
-If you believe a president should cut our military spending especially during war time
-Whether or not you want a president who has not led or managed any type of business or military unit
-If you want a president who is not bipartisan and has not done anything to prove otherwise
-Which candidate supports free trade agreements especially currently Columbia
-Whether or not unions should be able to bully people into joining their union
-Freedom of speech by conservatives on the radio
-Flip flops over the recent year from the primaries to the general
election (NAFTA, FISA, public financing, Iraq, Jerusalem, flag lapel
pin, DC Handgun ban, meeting with terrorists without preconditions,
special interests, Cuba embargo, illegal immigration, Jeremiah Wright,
abortion, surge, decriminalization of marijuana, labeling Iranian
Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization, the threat of Iran,
Patriot Act, nuclear power, vouchers, same-sex marriage, 2nd amendment,
missile defense, welfare reform)
-Own members of own party said this candidate is not ready to become
president and even this candidate also counted himself out during an
interview
-His own vice president who said there would be an international crisis
to test the mettle of this guy- do we really want any crisis
-Which candidate has the experience and the judgment to lead us into the future
-Do you want to have the same economic, political, and social policies of Europe
Finally think about whether you believe America is still the greatest
country to live in and whether or not it really needs fundamental
change or that we are still the greatest defender of freedom, liberty,
and prosperity.
Now after that the best candidate is I think kind of obvious.
