Point of Order that the Senate Health Care Bill Violates Budget Rules is Tabled

This point of order was issued by Senator Cornyn and it was tabled by a vote of 57-42. This goes to the claim that reconciliation could not be used in passing the health care bill because it has nothing to do with the budget.

Only three Democrats (Bayh, Bennet, and McCaskill) voted with all the Republicans.
